Dr. Justin Donaldson

Dr Donaldson is an experienced GP and has been working in North East Victoria since 2016. He started his own GP medical practice, Alba Health, in May 2021.In addition to the usual GP work, his main areas of interest include: Men’s health; Cardiovascular risk assessment; Managing cardiovascular risk factors (e.g Hypertension, cholesterol management).
He completed his primary medical degree from the University of Aberdeen, UK in 2005; continued his post medical training in the busy teaching hospitals in Glasgow, working in the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) before obtaining collegiate membership (post graduate qualifications) of both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (MRCS 2011) and Royal College of General Practitioners in London (MRCGP 2012).
Moving to Melbourne in 2013 for a working holiday for a year, he then obtained fellowship to the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), working in a busy and diverse GP medical practice in the city’s western suburb, Point Cook.
Dr Donaldson was granted Australian citizenship in 2019 and is proud to call Myrtleford his home and provide care to the community he lives in.

Having gained her Graduate entry MBBS from Monash University in 2011, Alison completed her internship locally through the innovative Rural Generalist program Murray to Mountains. As an intern and resident she worked at Northeast Health Wangaratta and Albury Wodonga Health. She completed Extended skills training attaining the Advanced Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG Adv.). Then joined the Bogong GP training program as a GP registrar. She achieved specialist qualification Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017.
Alison is happy to join Alba Health, bringing her commitment to personalized care and the biopsychosocial focus to proactive, evidence-based care. Her special interests include screening and prevention (skin checks, women’s health, vaccination, and cardiovascular disease), gut health, travel medicine, and chronic disease management. She believes in building strong therapeutic relationships and working collaboratively with patients and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal health outcomes.
In addition to her clinical work, Alison spent two years with the Australian Commission’s National Standards for Safety and Quality in Health Services (NSQHS), gaining valuable insights into health equity, safety, and inclusion. She is an advocate for minority groups and strives to address health disparities.
When she’s not in the clinic, Alison enjoys regenerative gardening, and volunteering with Landcare to improve the local environment—one weed at a time. Or with her very large family.
Dr. Andrew Hunter

Dr. Andrew Hunter is a rural generalist registrar who has recently moved to the region at the end of 2025. He completed his postgraduate medical degree at the Australian National University in 2019. Since then, Andrew has worked in the Northern Territory, primarily in Alice Springs and Tennant Creek as well as flying out to isolated communities to provide primary care services from 2020 to 2025. He has also worked in Innisfail (QLD) during this time and regional western NSW in smaller hospitals, plus through online telehealth medicine.
Having mainly trained in emergency and critical care medicine he is now focussing on general practice in Myrtleford. He has a special interest in Indigenous health, men’s health, weight loss and lifestyle modification. Andrew is committed to health equity and supporting patients in their health questions and goals.”

Originally from Scotland, Dr. Colin Cameron commenced with Alba Health in 2025 with extensive experience in rural medicine and retrieval medicine. Dr. Cameron has a specialist interest area in skin health and credentialled in the Skin Cancer College Australasia, having completed advanced training and assessment in the diagnosis, treatment and management of skin cancers.

Steve is a Nurse Practitioner with over thirty years’ of experience working across the healthcare sector within Australia and Overseas. He has post-graduate studies in critical care and mental health and has worked in both specialty areas of critical care and community-aged psychiatry.
In 2010 Steve was endorsed as a Nurse Practitioner and for the last 15 years has been working with GP’s and aged care facilities to provide specialist care to older people. More recently Steve has been working in Primary Health Care in Wangaratta.
Steve has lived in Beechworth for over 20 years with his family on 7 scenic acres. In his free time Steve enjoys getting out into the beautiful Northeast Victoria countryside to fish and bushwalk as well as trying to improve his golf game.

Greta is an experienced Exercise Physiologist having worked in cardiac, respiratory and diabetic rehab services. Greta provides services for Alba Health at the Alpine Allied Health Hub providing services privately, with care plan referrals, with NDIS and support at home packages.
Greta also works as the Alba Health Practice Manager who oversees the day‑to‑day operations of the clinic, supporting our team and ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centred care.
